"A desparate attempt to cash in on the anti-Maradona craze after his hand-goal in Mexico, which results in a boring and ugly game. Stay away."

"This could have been SUCH a good game... If it had included a league table or anything to indicate actual progress, it would have been an inspired spin on `Footballer of the Year`. As it is, the seemingly pointless nature of the game, combined with graphics that are even worse than the Spectrum version, conspire to make a disappointing title (still quite thrilling to keep a clean sheet, though). One for committed football fans only."

"Not the best football simulation, but like Footballer of the Year, it was different and quite enjoyable. I don't remember any other CPC games in which one played as the teams goalkeeper solely. It's far too easy of course, but I think this would be great for a young child to play."
