Comments for Xyphoes Fantasy by Silmarils - Amstrad CPC/GX4000

Synopsis: Sorry either we do not have an official synopsis for this title or one was never actually written by the game developer, this is particularly true in the case of game packages that have multiple titles in one box. If you own this game, have access to the synopsis (usually written on the back of the box) and would like to submit it to CPC Zone for inclusion on this page, please post on our forums.

""Ok, so the graphics blew mw away, as did the digitised track at the begining along with the in-game music throughout. You can instantly tell hard graft and huge chunks of time went into this game, and for the most part has paid off. There are afew problems though, the first level seems to go on and on, jumping tends to get you into even more trouble and although I enjoyed the game to the end, I couldn't get over how lame the final showdown was. A good game, but not great. ""

"Some of the best GFX you`ll see in a cpc game.. has to be played and seen to be believed - those europeans sure knew how to get the most out of the cpc`s capabilities... A MUST play, cpc classic."

"A Shadow of the Beast-type game, with GREAT graphics and very similar action, although slightly better gameplay. Lots of nice features -and did I mention the GREAT graphics?"
