hint
Most people know this one, but start off as player 1 and play for a bit... when you're about to lose all your health, hit the player 2 fire button, you can then pick up all the keys and potions left over... Keep repeating until you're sick of the game. - submitted by Malc (CPC Zone Staff)

"Fantastic Job by Gremlin I bought this on Disc with my CPC 6128
Christmas 86 and all my friends loved it Unfortunately there was a bug though and it would crash ever now again when loading the next level in from the disc drive. It didn't matter though it showed off my new computers graphic and sound capability fantastically and thats what I wanted " - ninelivecat

"Originally programmed by Gremlin Graphics, then released by USGOLD... Gauntlet on the CPC is every bit as wonderful as its arcade original. A must own game that has something for everyone." - britnostalgic

"Red Warrior Shot The Food! - Probably one of my favourite games. Unfortunately the speech was missing, but otherwise perfect. I reckon the best 8bit home computer version. It's better than the Speccy version and far surpasses the C64 version. It would of been nice if you could of had four player though. Check out my comparison here: http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2863&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=358" - woody.cool

"Nice conversion. Was never a HUGE fan, but always enjoyed a quick blast of this in the arcades." - scooby1970

"A cool arcade conversion lacking sound and FX as it would have been really good to hear your cpc say "warrior needs food badly" just like the arcade did... It has so many levels you`ll be playing this for hours and hours if not days trying to complete it." - cpc4eva
