Comments for Lemmings by Psygnosis - Amstrad CPC/GX4000
Synopsis:
In this conversion from the huge Amiga game, guide as many Lemmings as you can through 60 levels and get them to the exit using skills like climbing, bashing, floating, digging and the ultimate last resort - nuke them! You can't control the Lemmings, just what they do, so you can't stop them falling down large pits by changing their direction so make sure you use the right skill at the right time and be careful, because you get a limited number of chances to use the particular skill. Added to that, there is a time limit, Lemmings can go fast through a level but there is a password system to get you to later levels.

"Now listen up, I first played Lemmings on the Amiga... I loved it to bits, everything was near perfect. I then played the CPC version, and despite not having a mouse, the gameplay, music and level design was spot on. Lemmings is without question the CPC's finest hour."

"Just about the best game ever on the Amstrad. Maybe a little slow but this was 1992 when the cpc was on it`s last legs as a games machine. (much better than the spectrum and c64 versions :) )"

"An original and unique game lots of levels and fun to play but it bored the hell out of me...."
Gryzor says
"The CPC graphics are very well suited to this, as all the fun lies in the gameplay. True, a mouse-driven version would be better, but even so it`s amazing fun, fun, FUN!"
Hiro says
"Nice conversion of the classic game. Graphics are as good as can be on CPC but lack of the mouse control put me off a bit"
