"Wow as Wonderboy you travel across land & clouds to rescue your Girlfriend. Graphics slghtly show their age, but work. Tune is terrible, but can be turned off - making the fx great & great use of the Hardware to scroll the screen make this addictive & give this game appeal. Also, the game plays well"

"Great game when you turn your emulator up to 175%!!! Other then that, it is normally a bit slow. But it`s not the worse version of the game around."

"Its a classic arcade game but I wouldnt give it a cpc classic status... its far too slow, scrolling is jerky, has no tune like the arcades cool tune and the GFX arent cute & colourful like they should be..."

"People that play Wonder Boy complain it's slow... and yes that is true unless you press the space bar to run. Excellent game worthy of everyones collection."
